Joinery & fitted storage

Nothing in an old house is square. Built-in joinery is the only kind that fits it, and it is what makes a renovated room look designed instead of furnished.

Typically 3 days–3 weeksEvery trade organised for you

Built on site because the room is not square

Modular fitted furniture assumes plumb walls and level floors. Yorkshire stone houses have neither. Building on site means scribing units to the actual wall, which is why there is no three-millimetre gap running down the side of a finished wardrobe.

Finished, not just fitted

Joinery is only as good as its final coat. Ours is filled, caulked, sanded and finished in the colour you have chosen, so it reads as part of the room rather than furniture standing in front of it.

Questions we get asked

Can you match existing joinery in a period house?

Usually, yes. We can copy an existing skirting or architrave profile so new work in one room matches the rest of the house.

Do you do the painting too?

Yes. All our joinery is priced finished unless you specifically want it left bare for your own decorator.
